Eluvietie – A Rose For Epona

Ban nhạc được thành lập vào mùa đông năm 2002 do Christian "Chrigel" Glanzmann trong một studio của dự án bao gồm những nhạc công về các loại nhạc khác nhau. Tháng 10 năm sau đã thấy
các ấn phẩm của MCD Vên (Helvetian Gaulish cho "Wild Joy"). Sau khi Chrigel quyết định Eluveitie là một ban nhạc thực sự thay vì cho một studio của dự án, anh đã lắp ráp 9 nhạc công và làm cho nó đầy đủ 10 thành viên của ban nhạc.
